Hydraulic Pumps
We are proud to supply Power Team’s line of hydraulic pumps – most notably its PE55 series. The PE55 series has an excellent reputation in heavy duty applications, including construction and concrete stressing applications. These hydraulic pumps are extremely customizable, with an array of configuration options available. They are also designed with a true unloading valve that allows for optimal efficiencies at maximum pressure (up to 10,000 rpm) and a lightweight build with the best power-to-weight ratio of all Power Team hydraulic pumps.
Hydraulic Cylinders
Flickinger Machine supplies hydraulic cylinders that range in capacity, but all deliver the same elite level of reliable performance. This includes Power Team’s proven C-series, a line of single-acting hydraulic cylinders available in capacities from 10 to 100 tons. They are utilized in foundation repair, construction, automotive and other applications where durability is key. Features include solid steel body construction, aluminum bronze bearings, maximum-sized springs and chrome-plated rod components.
Post-Tensioning Jacks
Post-tensioning jacks are utilized for concrete stressing applications at concrete fabrication plants and in the field. Post-tensioning jacks are available in power seating and spring seating configurations, as well as specialized models like short cable jacks and low clearance jacks, both of which provide additional access in challenging conditions. Post-tensioning jacks rely on a variety of stressing accessories to function better, including nose pieces, wedges, grippers and wedge setters. Since they are operated in heat and contaminant-rich environments, consistent maintenance is critical for your post-tensioning jacks.
Power Seating Jacks
Power seating jacks utilize hydraulic power when stroking in both directions, providing additional efficiency, reliability and user comfort, compared to spring-seating jacks. Flickinger Machine’s power seating jacks tension strand with greater reliability, as they experience fewer seating losses compared to spring-seating jacks (because the jack maintains tension even while the anchor is seated into the pocket). We can also supply specialized power seating jack models. They include short cable jacks, which are needed when the strand is severed or improperly anchored, and low clearance jacks which are needed when operators are dealing with reduced stroking clearance.
Dead Ender Pumps
Dead ender pumps are predominantly found at concrete fabrication plants, where they’re used to tension dead end anchor sets. Above all else, dead ender pumps must be reliable, as they may cycle through thousands of anchor sets each day. Flickinger Machine supplies the PE55 series for dead ender applications, for several reasons. It can be configured with advance return functionality, which holds pressure levels constant until the motor is shut off. With the PE55’s dump valve, the pump can cycle without interruption, which saves time, especially in applications like stressing tendons.
